After Berlin we had an early-morning flight to Milan then on to Tel Aviv. A largely uneventful flight was enlivened by "Dr. Robin" taking Malka's pulse with the antiquated in-flight headphones. We were amazed to be met at Ben Gurion airport by a VIP service that whisked us through all the queues and out of the airport in double-quick time. Not a bad birthday present for Colin!
The return flight was more stressful with a long delay that nearly caused us to miss the connection. However, we were amused when a young boy wanted to know if we were "Iggy Pop's" entourage (seemingly, the lad had decided that Max was emanating the raw power!).
After a pleasant train journey to Hamburg we were met by our driver, Gregor Mussa, moonlighting from his regular job as Laibach's road tech, and the van which was to be our "home" until after Brussels.
We had an early morning dash from Brussels to Dusseldorf airport for the flight to Dublin. The final leg was a flight back to London.
